How the Client Support Fund helps our Community
The average person can’t afford a $400 emergency expense. Immigrants are even more vulnerable because they lack the immigration status required to access certain financial assistance programs and often don’t have savings as a result of their immigration journey. Here are just a few ways the Client Support Fund will help immigrants in our community:
- $50 Covers Fees for an Unaccompained Child to Play School Sports
- $150 Pays for a Dental Exam for an immigrant Child who has never been to the dentist before
- $300 Pays for Utilities for a Ukrainian Family adjusting to life in nebraska
- $500 furnishes a bedroom for afghan children new to omaha
- $800 covers a month's rent for a one bedroom apartment for a newly arrived refugee
- $1,500 covers the medical exam costs for a family of four Adjusting Their Status
