As a Social Worker at ILC + REC, Magda Batiz Salazar works with unaccompanied immigrant children and their families who recently arrived in Nebraska.
Magda is a Mexican immigrant and moved to Nebraska from Mexico when she was 13 years old.
She speaks English and Spanish.
Madga is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and is currently completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
When not at work, you can find Magda reading, running, and spending time with loved ones.
